    <p>В статье рассмотрен такой современный и перспективный тип судовых движителей как азипод. Определены особенности его использования для управления и маневрирования современными СИГ газовозами типа ARC7. Рассмотрены различные режимы плавания, конфигурации системы управления, способы управления азиподами в различных типовых ситуациях, а также при ледовом плавании. Приведены параметры судовой пропульсивной установки, а также особенности ее использования при ледовой навигации. В программной среде Matlab произведено упрощенное моделирование динамики движения судна с целью определения оптимальных способов аварийной остановки судна с использованием азиподов</p>

    <p>Hie article considers modem and perspective type of ship’s propulsion system - Azipods. Hie features of using Azipods for conning and maneuvering the modem ARC7 LNG gas carrier are determined. Various sailing modes, control system configurations, Azipod control methods in various typical situations, as well as during ice navigation, are considered. The parameters of the ship’s propulsion system are presented, as well as the features of its use while ice navigation. In Matlab software environment, a simplified simulation of the ship's dynamics was performed in order to determine the optimal methods for LNG vessel emergency stopping with help of azipods.</p>
