Важным компонентом современной профессиональной подготовки моряков является конвенционная подготовка. Возникшая по инициативе ИМО, как следствие высокой аварийности на судах морского транспорта, её внедрение и применение дало ощутимые результаты - значительно сократилось число аварий, гибели судов и членов экипажа. В статье на основе требований руководящих документов ИМО и Российской Федерации, подходов отечественных ученых, раскрывается сущность конвенционной подготовки, её цели, задачи и особенности. По мнению авторов, данный вид подготовки моряков и курсантов морских образовательных организаций целесообразен, важен и востребован, а также нуждается в дальнейшем конструктивном совершенствовании.
Convention training is an important component of modem professional training of seafarers. Created at the initiative of the IMO, as a result of the high accident rate on ships of maritime transport, its implementation and application has yielded tangible results - the number of accidents, deaths of ships and crew members has significantly decreased. The article reveals the essence of conventional training, its goals, tasks and features based on the requirements of the IMO and the Russian Federation governing documents, the approaches of domestic scientists. According to the authors, this type of training of sailors and cadets of maritime educational organizations is appropriate, important and in demand, and also needs further constructive improvement.
