PLANNING CARGO OPERATIONS ON CARGO MANAGEMENT BRANCH OF CONTAINER TERMINAL

Abstract (English):
The article covered problem of container terminal railway operating planning. Authors defined main tasks which should be solved in domain and methods to handle the tasks. Task offorming a container set for shipment on a railway car, placing railway cars on the sidings of a container terminal, dislocation of a large number of high-capacity containers unloaded from the cars are declared. The article described the architecture of automated planning system for container terminal railways. Authors provided detailed description of experimental research of software for planning process optimization on container terminal railways.
