The article discusses the possibility of finding the confidence intervals of meteorological data using ship's integrated automatic system. Based on the analysis of actual and predicted values for the “local areas” whileship-to-ship cargo operations with liquefied natural gas, a method to determine the confidence criterion has been proposed. Confidence criterion can be useful for the captain in the detailed risk assessment before cargo operations. The approach to the solution of the task was detennined and the test of experimental data wasperfonned.
