THE COMPARISON OF THE METHODS USED FOR THE VESSEL’S DYNAMIC SQUATASSESSMENT

Abstract (English):
Various methods used for determining the vessel’s dynamic squat in shallow waters and in channels from domestic and foreign researches are compared.The analyzed approaches are converted into Froude number functional dependences: linear, quadratic, cubic, complex depending on environmental conditions and the vessel’s dimensions.A comparative analysis of the equations, coefficients and numerical values of the dynamic squat under variation of the environmental conditions and the vessel’s dimensions is given.
