TECHNICAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL ISSUES OF THE USE OF BIODIESEL IN WATER TRANSPORT

Abstract (English):
The article discusses the features of the use of biodiesel in water transport. The advantages and disadvantages of biodiesel compared to petroleum diesel fuel are given. The influence of biodiesel composition on its properties is analyzed. The issues that will allow the widespread use of biodiesel are considered. The necessity of protecting biodiesel from water ingress is justified. Recommendations on the stability of biodiesel during storage and its compatibility with various structural materials are given. Conclusions are made about the possibility of eliminating negative factors and the successful use of biodiesel as an alternative marine fuel.
