ANALYSIS OF INTERNATIONAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF MARITIME AUTONOMOUS SURFACE SHIPS

Abstract (English):
The article analyzes the existing classifications of the autonomy of vessels, proposed by various world organizations in the field of maritime transport. The degree of interaction between a person and systems that carry out the execution of navigation functions is considered. An analysis was made of the use of a combination of different levels of autonomy depending on the degree of complexity of navigational tasks. The conclusion is made about the need for human control and intervention.
