Abstract (English):
The article discusses the heating of metal surfaces and conductive liquids by a traveling magnetic field, which, closing through a non-magnetic gap along the walls of a ferromagnetic material and outside it, transfers thermal energy to it due to eddy currents. The paper provides a review, analysis and preliminary calculation of a modular induction linear heater. A conclusion is given at the end of the article
