In 2020 -2021 The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has enacted new environmental standards (IMO Tier III) on the content of sulfur and nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gases of ship power plants. The introduction of ship gas-cleaning equipment is an alternative to achieving modern environmental requirements for the con-centration of sulfur and nitrogen oxides in exhaust gases. The paper presents the results of experimental studies on the development of a technology for cleaning exhaust gases from ship power plants from harmful compo-nents in scrubber installations.
