This article discusses the problem of perception by the human element of the elements of the ship motion model. The increased importance of answering the question of how a person can adequately control an un-manned vessel of the third and fourth levels of autonomy is explained. Various systems, including deterministic, stochastic models and various other types of ship motion models, were considered as a mathematical apparatus; as a result, the mathematical apparatus of fuzzy logic was chosen with motivation. Inconsistency between the system and the person was also simulated using data of different concordance. The simplest model simulating decision-making on the steering wheel was proposed as an assessment. A system was modeled that allows checking both elements of inconsistency, both separately and jointly. Important results have been obtained in numerical and graphical versions, and corresponding conclusions have been drawn. A plan for further work has been formulated
