ECONOMIC AND MATHEMATICAL ANALYSIS OF THE FISHERY AND TRANSPORTS VESSELS’ COORDINATED ACTIONS IN FISHING AREAS

Abstract (English):
The paper gives consideration to a demonstrative example of the use of mathematical modeling for a fishing expedition operations’ analysis. The processes of organizing the work of the fishing and transport fleets and their coordinated actions were selected as the object of research. The result of the research is a formalized description of the decision-making process in the short-term planning for and management of a company's fleet using mathematical models of operation study. The mathematical models of the following sub-processes are presented: catch of biological resources by the fishing fleet in given fishing areas; export of fish products by transport vessels from the fishing areas, as well as distribution of the profit gained among the vessels participating in the fishing expedition. The deployment of such models in economic and mathematical analysis will make it possible to carry out an all-inclusive process flow optimization, their planning and forecasting for high-quality management decisions, maintaining the level of profitability of the fleet and best use of all technological resources available witha company.
