ALGORITHM FOR RECOMMENDING A RUDDER ANGLE FOR DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS WHEN MANEUVERING IN NARROWNESSES

Abstract (English):
In this paper, the authors propose an algorithm for decision support systems in the field of ship control during the passage of narrow sections of the water area.The system is based on the analysis of traffic data similar in type, size and displacement of ships in the same water area. Based on the analysis of these data, it was possible to derive a predictive model for each type of vessel from the simulated one, which was able to indicate with high reliability the rudder angle depending on the coordinates of the vessel.
